Harriet S. Lewis Alfano, 78, of East Haven, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 12th, 2023, after a long courageous battle with COPD, surrounded by her loving family at Hospice Care at Yale New Haven Hospital/St. Raphael’s campus. Born in Ogdone, Utah on October 8th, 1944, daughter of the late Irving and Susan Lewis. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 42 years Leonard (Lenny) Alfano. Loving mother of Blase, Chris and Mark Miserendino, Lisa Pascale, Jacquelyn Frosceno (Ben) and Vinny Alfano (Heather). Loving grandmother of Chris Miserendino (Kim), Gianna Miserendino, Benny & Nicky Frosceno, Angela and Eddie Pascale. She leaves behind her loving brother Stephen Lewis, brother-in-law Louis Alfano, Jr. Predeceased by her son-in-law Eddie Pascale and her brother Kenneth Lewis.
The visiting hours will be Sunday, Feb. 19th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A service will be conducted in the funeral home at 4:00 PM. Interment will private and at the convenience of the family.
My sincere condolences to the Alfano family on the loss of Harriett. I have known Harriett for many years. She always had a smile for me and a kind greeting. My thoughts and prayers are with the Alfano family.
