Helen C. Burns Page, 94, of East Haven, formerly of Townsend Avenue, New Haven for many years, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the Whitney Rehabilitation Care Center, Hamden.  She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred E. Page.  Helen was born in Seneca Falls, New York on February 10, 1927 and was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Ella Kirk Burns.  She had worked for the Sterling Library.  Helen enjoyed playing cards on Saturdays with her sister-in-law Winnie Rubino, was an avid Boston Red Sox and UCONN Girls basketball fan.  Mother of Charles “Chuck” Page (Theresa) and Thomas “Tom” Page (Michelle).  Grandmother of Heather and Lawrence Page (Nicole), Michael and Kristin Page, and the late Patrick Page. Predeceased by her sisters Jane Pierson and Ruth Connor.

The visiting hours will be Thursday, May 20th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at Church of St. Vincent de Paul, 80 Taylor Avenue, East Haven on Friday morning, May 21st at 9:30. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929
