Helen Provasoli Scialla, of East Haven, CT passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020. Born on December 26, 1933 in Allingtown, (West Haven) CT. Daughter of the late Luigi and Genevia Provasoli. Predeceased by her Ex-Husband Leo Scialla Sr. and her siblings, Carmela Cusano (Alfred), Louis (Gigi) Provasoli and Anthony Provasoli (Elinor).
Helen leaves her loving sister Rosemarie Carrafa (Michael), Son Leo Scialla Jr. Daughter Linda Rescigno and Daughter-in-law and dear friend Alice Scialla. She leaves her precious Grandchildren Joseph Scialla, Jessica Scialla, Angela Irzyk (Jeff) and Paul Rescigno, Jr. (Melissa), and her beautiful Great Grandchildren, Julianna and Lennon Irzyk and Olivia Rescigno.

We are truly grateful for all of your exceptional loving care, support, dedication and friendship provided to Helen and her family throughout the years. Love and Blessings to all of you.
Helen cherished her childhood growing up in Allingtown, CT, roller skating with her friends and siblings. She graduated with Honors from Forest School in West Haven and from East Haven High School. She worked at her Parents Restaurant “The Annex House” in East Haven and attended Nursing School,. She was a Medical Transcriptionist at Yale New Haven Hospital where she proudly retired. Helen was a devoted loving Mother, Wife and Grandmother. She loved giving gifts, hosting her Traditional Holidays, having her coffee and cake time and playing her favorite songs on her Piano. She adored her Grandchildren and was very proud of their talented accomplishments, shared many adventures with them, creating everlasting memories. Helen had a special friendship with her “Irish Daughter-in-law” Alice Scialla, they spent many heartfelt moments together. Helen’s beautiful smile and kind soul will remain in our hearts forever.
