Irene French Eimutis, 89, of Wallingford passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at MidState Medical Center, Meriden with family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert C. Eimutis. Irene was born in Birmingham, England on December 19, 1933 and was the daughter of the late William Henry and Gertrude Gibbs French. She worked as a shipping clerk at Circuitwise for many years until her retirement. Irene enjoyed line dancing and playing cards, but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family whom she loved unconditionally. Mother of Stephen (Eileen) Broadfield and Dawn D’Amato. Sister of the late Colleen Roberts and Doreen Stanley. Also survived by her 7 grandchildren, 15 Great-grandchildren and a great- great-grandson. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Dawn Ralston
The visiting hours will be on Thursday morning, January 12th from 9:00 to 10:30 in the Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home at 10:30. Interment will follow in Montowese Cemetery. Dawn, Steve and family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom, Irene. She was a lovely and kind person. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this time of grief.
