I came across his passing because a high school classmates father also passed and is listed in the obituary of North Haven funeral home. (You were my nurse in ICU at St Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem 2014 after my pituitary surgery).

Jim Lianos – the very mention of his name brings a flood of wonderful memories spanning 55 years. Who knew that a friendship which began in the Navy in 1968 would lead to being Best Man at our wedding in 1969 and continue to grow as trips between Connecticut and Texas became more frequent. On our visits, Jim, always the planner, would schedule daily activities carefully, making the most of our time together. He was, after all, the clock man and knew how precious time was. We were so looking forward to Jim and Lin coming to Texas again soon, however, are very thankful we were able to see them last summer. Jim’s humor, laughter and great personality made him the center of any gathering. Our family loved him and his family with all our hearts. He made such a difference in all our lives, and we will never be the same. Jim, Best Man, “You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race and you have kept the faith.” 2Timothy 4:7

My deepest sympathies, Linda, Michael and Kristie.
Jim and I were friends since grammar school. He was super-talented and one of the kindest people I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing.
