James Michael Reilly, 46, of New Haven, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in North Haven that day. James was born in New Haven on September 12, 1970 and was the son of James Reilly and Monica Zarnowski Adams. He had worked as a roofer for the Branford Roofing Company. James enjoyed fishing, hiking, boating and was truly a “Gentle Giant” who had a great love for animals. Father of Heather and Rosie Reilly, and Anthony Massaro. Brother of Beth Ann (Steven) Friess, Kristin (Bill) Bachmann, Steven (Tracy) Reilly and Brett Reilly. Step son of Linda Karn Reilly. Also survived by Monica’s partner in life Al Camara, seven nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his loving partner Louise Massaro “His Rock”.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Friday afternoon at 1:00 with the Rev. Timothy Meehan officiating. Family and friends may call from 10:30 am until time of service. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his daughters Heather and Rosie Reilly, Please make checks payable to Heather Reilly.

I met Jimmy in my early years of junior high school being Best friends with his younger brother Steven. Jimmy always wanted to know where we were going and who we were going to be with whenever we seen him in the neighborhood . He Will truly be missed. (A True big brother)
