We are sorry to learn of the passing of Auntie Jane. I remember her as a real spit fire and women’s role model. I admired her spunk, energy and vigor. I met Jane through Rose DeLucia, my dad’s cousin Tony’s wife. Rose and Jane use to play card games and bingo together. I also knew of Jane through my dad who was a school bus driver for most of his adult life. My dad was a school bus driver trainer. I recall his admiration of Jane’s skills with as a school bus driver. He was impressed with her and so was I. She was one of the first women to drive a school bus in that day and age when women did not routinely drive school buses as they do today. It was a pleasure to always see her and speak with her. We are very sorry for your loss. Take peace in knowing she is now reunited with her sister Rose, and family.
She kept me in line quite often!
❤To a great woman and mother to all!❤
My deepest condolences to Pat, Vinny and their family. My family and I have known Jane for many years. Be it in town at a store or seeing her at school helping children on the busses made your day when she gave you her smile and genuine “ how are you l”? She was a strong and caring person who always talked proudly of her children and grandchildren. She will be missed.💕
Jane took good care of so many of my students at JHS. She will be missed
