Janet Starr Brandt, 89, of Branford, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 24th, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles E. Brandt. Janet was born in New Haven on November 1, 1932 and was the daughter of the late George and Florence (Smith) Starr. She retired from waitressing at the former Northford House where she happily greeted all her “regulars” every morning. She loved solving crossword puzzles and playing scrabble but her true passion was reading. A devoted and loving mother to Laurie (Ben) Zukauskas, James Brandt, Jon Brandt, and the late Donna Brandt. Grandmother to cherished granddaughters Amber (Mark) Noccioletti and Heather Zukauskas, and great-granddaughter Giada Noccioletti. Predeceased by a sister Georgia Hood and brother Howard Starr.
