I knew Jan for nearly 25 years, which is not nearly long enough. I am going to miss her laugh, our chats where we would kick around ideas on how to fix the world, and our time watching the Red Sox together. Thanks for raising Margie to be a great person and teaching her to be as loving, dedicated, reliable and tough as she has been these past few months. Jan was the toughest person that I have ever met…. she faced this cancer down without complaint, without question and with faith, and when the opportunity arose, she chose to try an experimental treatment and said “maybe I can help someone else by doing this”. I hope that if I was ever in a similar situation, I could be just like her.
So sorry for the loss of her but I KNOW that she is watching over her flock. Rest in Peace and say hi to Larry for me.
Hope you are somewhere floating over Ireland now and feeling how much you are loved and will be missed. XO
You will be dearly missed; a loving mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend. You were loved far and deep, and I know you are not far.
We’re very sorry for you loss. Janice was a very nice lady who always pleasant and kind.
I am so sorry for your loss. Suffering, growing old, and dying were never part of our Creator’s plans for us, we were to live happy, healthy, lives forever. His purpose for mankind has not changed. At Revelation 21:4 we learn that soon everything that causes us pain and suffering, including death, will be gone forever. John 5:28, 29 also holds out the hope of seeing those we have lost in death, once again, here on earth. May you draw comfort from this.
