Jeanette B. DiGioia, 88, of Wallingford, formerly of Thompson Street, East Haven for many years, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 11th, 2020 at her home. She was born in New Haven on May 23, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Francesco and Stella Maria Logioco DiGioia. Jeanette dedicated her life to her family, having taking care of her mother when she was living, and watching her nieces and nephews who she loved unconditionally.
Private funeral services were held.
Aunt Janet, rest in peace. In addition to caring for “Ma”, you raised three generations of DiGioia children while caring for a brother and three sisters. You were an important part of the family. It was only recently that we spoke with you for the last time and you had few complaints, even though you were experiencing difficult times. You will now have a pain free, care free existence in heaven where you are now united with those that left this world before you. You and all of the family are in our prayers.
