Jeanne Falcone Cretella, 69, of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Hartford Hospital with her family by her side. Jeanne was born in New Haven on December 20, 1948 and was the daughter of Angela Sacramone Falcone and the late Dominic Falcone. She was an Administrative Assistant for Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Jeanne was a devout Catholic and was very dedicated to her church and family whom she loved unconditionally. Mother of Victor (Catherine) Cretella, Jeffrey Cretella, Lori (Rob) Lloyd and Mark (Becky) Cretella. Grandmother of Alexis, Genny, Brooke, Anna, Eddie, Zach, Matt, Tony, Jill and Emily. Sister of Marie (Joseph) D’Alessio. Also survived by a niece Juditha and a nephew Jared.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue on Tuesday morning at 10:30. Family and friends may call from 9:00 to 10:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Hamden at 11:00. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 1463 Highland Avenue, Cheshire, CT 06410.
