Jennie (Milano) Ceneri Savino, 91, of Hamden, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 28th, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born in New Haven on January 7, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Mariana Lucibello Milano. Jennie had worked for the Hamden School System, enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and baking Anginette cookies her specialty. Mother of John Ceneri (Patricia), Doreen Zaino (Pete) and Dianne Ceneri (Mike Meredith). Grandmother of Marisa Ceneri, JoAnna Nunzianto (Mark), Aubrey Moore, Thomas Moore, Peter Zaino and Christina Zaino. Great grandmother of Marco and Mia Nunzianto. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her first husband John Ceneri, her second husband Dominic Savino and her siblings Gennaro Milano, Antoinette Ruocco, Lucian Parrillo, Mary Vitagliano, Dominic, and Louis Milano.
The visiting hours will be on Wednesday morning, Nov. 2nd from 10:00 to 11:30 at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 11:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Hamden at 12:00PM. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
