Jo-Ann Laoue Severino, 64, of Guilford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Connecticut Hospice, Branford with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 39 years to Louis Severino. She was born in New Haven on December 3, 1958 and was the daughter of the late John and Marie Selitte Laoue. Jo-Ann was a graduate of Wilbur Cross High School, later attended X Ray school and upon graduation worked for many years as an X Ray technician. She enjoyed playing bingo on Monday nights, however her greatest joy was spending time with her family whom she loved unconditionally. Mother of Scott, Michael (Jordyn) and Mark Severino. Grandmother of Penelope Severino. Sister of Karen (Brian) Donnelly and Margaret (Jay) Romano. Also survived by her father-in-law Louis Severino, many nieces, and nephews.
The visiting hours will be on Tuesday morning, Jan. 17th from 9:30 to 11:30 at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Ave at 12 noon. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.

Jo-Ann was the most kind and compassionate person. I worked with Jo for many years and her kindness to all of her patients was amazing! We should all strive to be more like Jo.
