Jo-Anne Costanzo Barletta, 75, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Yale-New Haven Hospital/ St. Raphael campus with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 54 years to Martin A. Barletta, Sr. Jo-Anne was born in New Haven on August 29, 1942 and was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Josephine I. St. John Costanzo. She had worked for the former General Wine & Liquors, New Haven and later was a Medical Secretary for the Urology Center for 30 years until her retirement. Jo-Anne was a member of the Annex Y.M.A Ladies Auxiliary. Mother of Martin A. Barletta, Jr (Andrea) and Tom Barletta (Krystyna). Grandmother of Natalie, Zachary, Anthony, Alyssa and Alex Barletta, and Jacob Rasmussen. Sister of Nicholas Costanzo (Janice). Aunt of Amanda Girouard (Stephen) and Katie Costanzo.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Wednesday morning, Feb.21st at 11:00 with the Rev. Timothy Meehan officiating. Family and friends may call from 10:00 am until time of service. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929 or the Animal Haven, Inc., 89 Mill Road, North Haven, Connecticut 06473.
