Dear Cheryl, Allison and family,
We are thinking of you all at this sad time. Helping out in your mom’s classroom helped solidify my wanting to work with students. I saw the joy that she felt as a result of her teaching and that was refreshing and wonderful.
Please send our sympathy to your extended family.
In sympathy and love,
Janet, Jerry and family
My condolences to Joan’s family. I had the pleasure of getting to know Joan when we were both teaching in No. Haven. Such a lovely and endearing person. We kept in touch for quite a few years in retirement via notes during the holidays. A very classy lady.
With deepest sympathy for your loss.

Cheryl and Allison, your mother was such a happy and joyful soul. I love the memories of her, at your ski house and the fun times our families had at Aunt Pat and Uncle Bobs, with Gordon, Greg and Gary. Lots of laughs with great stories. Hugs and love to you both. Beth.
Joan was such a lovely woman and such a great role model. Dave and I have fond memories of spending time wilh your parents and The Espositos and the Orths. May Joan rest in pease. She will be remembered as such a lady.
