Joan Webster Johnson, 89, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 19th, 2023, at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford with her family by her side.  She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick S. Johnson. Joan was born in West Haven on August 3, 1934, and was the daughter of the late Colonel S. and Mary Dallas Webster. She worked as an Office Manager for various companies until her retirement. Joan was a long-time parishioner of St. Frances Cabrini Church, a voracious reader, enjoyed gardening, traveling and attending all her family’s sporting events. But most of all she loved her family, who meant the world to her.  Beloved mother of Eileen Blinzley, Eric M. (Sharon) Johnson, Neil F. (Lori) Johnson and Chris M. Johnson. Loving grandmother of Nicholas Shaw, Tiffany (Christopher) Donaldson, Matthew Hasz, Jeremiah Hasz-Blinzley, Tyler, Kurt, Sean, Shelby, Zachary (Elaina), Kyle and Justine Johnson (fiancé Mike Petry). Beloved great grandmother of Ryleigh and Ava Donaldson and Jacob Johnson. Sister of Gordon D. Webster and the late Delwyn G. Webster.  The visiting hours will be Friday morning, November 24th in the Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, from 8:00 to 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Ave., North Haven at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
