John Esposito, 99, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 1st, 2021 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford. He was the beloved husband of the late Eva Lucibello Esposito. John was born in New Haven on February 3, 1922 and was the son of the late Giro and Rose Ventura Esposito. A professional make-up artist and hairstylist, John studied in Chicago before becoming an owner and operator of several salons in New Haven, Orange, Branford, and Hamden until his retirement. He enjoyed many years entertaining family and friends in his home and especially enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren. John and his wife were members of Good News Christian Church and spent several years visiting and ministering in area nursing homes. Father of Elizabeth Grollino (Joseph), Anthony Esposito (Annette), Ava Sorensen (James Schroeder), John Esposito, Jr. (Kristine) and the late Giro Esposito. Brother of Salvatore, Anthony, Elizabeth Esposito Greco, Henry, Giro, and Frances Esposito Carusone. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Tuesday morning, July 20, 2021 at the Good News Christian Church, 46 John Street, Wallingford at 10:00.
