John J. Lomento, Jr., 58, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 24th, 2023, peacefully at his home with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Kimberly Parillo Lomento. John was born in Winchester, CT on February 7, 1965, and was the son of the late John J. Lomento, Sr. and Mary Mannion. A graduate of Torrington High School, John worked in the tree service for many years having last worked for Lewis Tree Service until his illness. He enjoyed fishing and camping, but most of all being with his children whom he loved unconditionally. Loving father of Tanya, Tyler, Jayme, Ayden and Luca Lomento. Brother of Randy and David Lomento. Son-in-law of Linda and David Jetmar. Grandson-in-law of Shirley and Anthony Perfetti. Brother-in-law of Michael (Samantha) Parillo, Christopher (Danielle) Parillo.
The visiting hours will be Sunday, July 30th from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Family and friends are invited go directly to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue on Monday morning, July 31st at 10:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
