John Vasseur, 85, of Groton, formerly of Grove Road, North Haven, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 10th, 2021, at the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital, New London. He was the beloved husband of the late Valerie Satula Vasseur. John was born in Paris, France on January 17, 1936, and was the son of the late George and Georgette Vasseur. He served his country faithfully in the US Air Force. John was co-owner with his son, of the former Air Engineering of Milford.He was an avid golfer. Father of Laura Rush and her husband David of Waterford, Bradford Scott Vasseur and his wife Diane of Milford. Grandfather of Ian Rush, Isabella Rush, Emily Vasseur and Bradford Vasseur.
