Joseph J. Albo, 88, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford. He was the beloved husband of the late Norma Landino Albo. Joseph was born in New York City on April 7, 1929; son of the late Victor and Alice Higginson Albo ; had worked as a pasteurizer for the former Knudsen Bros. Dairy of North Haven, then for the Pfizer Corporation and later for Ametek until his retirement. Joseph loved to paint. Father of Robert E. Albo and the late Harold C. Albo, Sr. Brother of Margaret Albo Gross. Also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a grandson Mark Albo, Sr., brothers Victor and Luis Albo, sisters Dorothy Albo Tinnen, Cecelia Albo Freestone, Alice Albo Ipsen, Beatrice Albo Kaminski and Ann Albo Librera.
Funeral services will be conducted in North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Monday afternoon at 2:00 with the Rev. Timothy Meehan officiating. Family and friends may call from 1:00 until time of service. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
My condolences for my uncle family who i was introduced to once maybe 35 years ago. Remembering how much he looked like my farther Luis Albo his brother. What I remember most is how warm and friendly he was. he left an impression on me that I wish my farther had. God bless his family who’s still exists.
