Josephine Cafasso, 69, of New Haven, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 1st, 2021, at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Born in New Haven on September 4, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Rose Dogolo Cafasso. Josephine was a graduate of Wilbur Cross High School, attended Gateway Community College, had worked in the office for Benedict Oil Company and later for Stop & Shop. Sister of Fred (Nancy) Cafasso, George Cafasso and the late Ann Cafasso. Also survived by many loving, caring friends and her faithful cat Piwak.
The visiting hour will be Wednesday, July 7th from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A service will be conducted in the funeral home at 12 Noon. Interment will be private.
