Josephine F. Palumbo Pritchard, 79, of Branford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at her home with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 53 years to the late Donald Pritchard. Josephine was born in New Haven on August 22, 1942 and was the daughter of the late John and Helen D’Errico Palumbo. She enjoyed cooking and was best known for her delicious eggplant parmigiana. Josephine’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved unconditionally. Mother of Donald (Angela) Pritchard and Linda Pritchard. Loving Gammy to Kayleigh “Shooter”, Vincent “Scooter”, Caitlin “Shake-n-Bake”, Sean “Sparky”, and the late Jacqueline “Jellybean”.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to the office of All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Avenue, North Haven on Tuesday morning Jan. 18th at 9:45 AM.Procession will follow to the graveside at 10:00 AM for a committal service. There will be no visiting hours.
To a wonderful and caring friend!! I love you so Joanie, you will be so deeply missed!! I will remember all the fun that we had together, taking are little trips to Maas and going to the candle shop!! You were always the one that would like to get together and enjoy having fun!! Many ,many laughs,, we had together!! And the Friday nights at Elaine’s house were the greatest, no matter what we all are still family!! It’s hard for me to say goodbye,even though I have not seen you for years, you always had a special place in my heart, may you Rest In Peace my wonderful and loving friend!! Joanie was a wonderfully warm person who enjoyed a good laugh. I remember the fun we had when “the group” went to Atlantic City-what a hoot! Rest in piece, you earned it.
