Josephine Redente Finelli, 92, of Wallingford formerly of Mansfield Road, North Haven passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Regency House, Wallingford with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Ralph Finelli, Sr. Josephine was born in New Haven on March 27, 1924; daughter of the late Andrew and Carmellina Proto Redente. Mother of Mary (Louis) Giangola, John Finelli and Joseph (Rosemary) Finelli. Grandmother of Dina (Peter) Guarino, Louis and Christopher Giangola, John, Lindsay, Joseph and Michael (Amanda) Finelli. Great-Grandmother of Gabriella, Sofia and Peter Guarino, John Finelli, Jr, Dallas, Skyler, Lilly and Mackenzie Finelli. Predeceased by a sister Anna Rubino and brothers Andrew, Anthony, Gerald, Joseph and Dominic Redente.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Wednesday morning at 10:30. Family and friends may call from 8:30 to 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 11:00. Entombment will follow in the All Saints Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 200 Executive Blvd, Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489.
Such a wonderful lady who loved her family. “Grandma Joy” will be sorely missed.

So sorry for your loss. Your mom (nonie) was a wonderful person, who I’m sure will be missed by many. Every time I saw her she seemed full of joy. She was blessed. Love you.
