Josephine Marie DeLeonardo Signor, 104, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 14th, 2022 at Middlesex Memorial Hospital, Middletown. She was the beloved wife of the late Stephen D. Signor. Josephine was born in New Haven on August 4, 1917 and was the daughter of the late John and Frances Festa DeLeonardo. She had worked in the cafeteria at Wilbur Cross High School for many years, was a member of the North Haven Senior Center, enjoyed crafts, playing cards and bingo. Mother of Stephen (Mary) Signor and the late Diane Raccio. Mother-in-law of Frank Raccio, Sr. Grandmother of Frank Raccio, Jr. and Laurie (David) Blanchette. Great Grandmother of Connor, Brayden and Brianna Blanchette. Also survived by her loving niece Susan (Raymond) Wilson. Predeceased by her siblings, Louis and Salvatore DeLeonardo, Emily Proto, Jean DeMetrio and Mary Carnavaciolo.
The visiting hours will be Thursday morning, March 17th from 10:00 to 11:30 at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven at 12 noon.
