Judith A. Mosebach Rueger of North Haven passed away peacefully on Friday, July 15th, 2022 at Central Connecticut Hospital, New Britain, a day before her 82nd birthday. She was the beloved wife of 55 years to the late Paul Robert Rueger. Judith was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania on July 16, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Chester and Grayce Clift Mosebach. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Millersville State College in Pennsylvania and her master’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University. Judith was a kindergarten teacher in Pennsylvania, Cheshire, North Haven and the Derby Hebrew School. Later she was a Pharmaceutical Technician for the Brooks Pharmacy. Judith and her late husband were the owners and operators of the former Raspberry Goat Farm in North Haven and they both loved animals. Judith enjoyed tending her garden (especially her dahlias and roses), but most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren who she loved unconditionally. Judith was also a very active member of the Northford Congregational Church. Mother of Lisa Rueger Hill and her husband David Christopher Hill, and Jason H. Rueger. Grandmother of Cari Elizabeth Hill and Caitlyn Alyssa Hill. Sister of Jayne Wroblewski and James Mosebach. Predeceased by her brother-in-law Jon Wroblewski.
Family and friends may call at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue on Monday, July 25th, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter, 749 E. Main Street, Branford, CT 06405.
I have known JUDY four many many years and was sad to here of her passing I know she is now with JESUS . REST IN PEACE AMEN.
Judy Rueger was my neighbor growing up. I was sorry to hear of her passing. She was a good friend to my mom back in the day. My condolences to Lisa and Jason.
Judy had such a sweet heart ! She was a kind neighbor and a good friend. I will miss our mailbox talks. She was blessed to have her loving family by her side , and Bey too. Our Deepest Sympathy for your loss.
Rest in peace, my dear friend Judy. You have lived a long and gracious life – a job well done! You will always be remembered as a good and faithful servant of our Lord. The earthly world is a sadder place without your light shining in it – but heaven is brightened by the welcoming of one of its beloved daughters. I consider it a blessing to have had the pleasure to have known and worked with Judy on countless projects for the Northford Congregational Church.

Judy was my dear friend for many years. My heart goes out to her family. She was a wonderful lady. I will miss her dearly. She always asked about my children and how they were doing. She was such a caring person. She will be dearly missed.
