To all of family and friends:
When I learned of Judy’s death on Thursday evening my heart stopped in such disbelief. She was on my list of people to call on Friday. She still needed to give me the pattern for the hat she knitted me. I sat with her at many parish council meetings and looked forward to all of her reports about community service projects. She inspired me to always find a way to reach out to those in need through service. In spirit, she and Jamie will continue to walk the East Rock neighborhood. She is well know for handing out our eggs for the traditional picnic egg toss. It was the most fun. She knew how to bring people together and help them laugh. I am just privileged to have known her these years and I am going to miss her a lot. I pray for all of you during the next few weeks. You are not alone in your sorrow.
Ann
May the Bykowski family find comfort in knowing that Judy’s soul is in God’s loving
hands and that Judy is now singing with the choir of angels.
Judy’s smiling face will be missed but will always remain in the hearts of the people
that love her.
My sincere condolences to Judy’s family and her dear friends. Judy was a treasure. I was privileged to have known her for the 15 months I ministered at St. Joseph’s, church she truly loved! Judy epitomized the attributes of the Christian lady: a selflessness and love for the common good. She was an example of true discipleship for me and many others. May she forever rest in the peace of God’s face.
