Judith K. Augur, 84, formerly of Northford passed away peacefully on July 3, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Fred J. Augur for 55 years. Born in Meriden on March 24, 1939, daughter of the late Raymond and Hazel Ives Kroeber. Judy worked as an administrator for the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council in New Haven before moving to New York to join her husband and help their youngest son with his newly established farm in Solon. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing cards and caring for her many cats. Proud mother of Frederick (Karin) Augur, Kenneth Augur, and David (Samantha) Augur. Grandmother of Alicia (Ryan), Allyson, David, Abbey, Van, Justin and great grandson Daniel. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Sister of Wesley Mancini and the late Phyllis Poulin.
The visiting hours will be Saturday morning, July 8th from 9:00 to 10:30 at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Saint Ambrose Parish at St. Monica’s Church, Northford at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Cortland County SPCA, 879 McLean Road, Cortland, NY 13045.
