Judith Lynn Molleur, 73, of Northford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at the Madison House. She was born in New Haven on August 30, 1949, and was the daughter of the late Raoul and Emily Jacques Molleur. Judith was a graduate of Amity High School and later attended Southern Connecticut State University in fine arts. She had worked in furniture sales and interior design for many businesses over many years. Judith was a talented artist, creating various watercolor and pencil sketches. Earlier in her life she made many beautiful types of stained glass. Judith’s greatest joy was spending time with and caring for her grandson, who she loved unconditionally. Beloved mother of Michael (Tara) Downes. Loving Nana of Alex Downes. Sister of Michael Todd Molleur. Also survived by her nieces Jenna and Kate Molleur.
The visiting hours will be on Thursday, May 4th from 4 to 7 PM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A service will be conducted in the funeral home at 7:00. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
