My heart goes out to everyone she has left behind to mourn her journey to the Golden Gates. I don’t know what kind of candy she gave to the kids when they visited… because my son, Luca, has a sweet spot for her in his heart and he said he will never forget her…💕 nor will we!
Love you auntie Julia

Auntie Julia, I will never forget your spunk and energy, your love of family, and times frying eggplant and Ewand , and the lessons you taught me through the years, I miss you now and forever ❤️ RIP with your brothers and sisters, and give Uncle Jimmy a kiss for me, till we meet again ❤️ Love you , Anita
Aunt Julia, you were very special to me. A very caring aunt and I was blessed to have you as my Godmother. You always amazed me how you would take the bus to go shopping downtown New Haven, Hamden Plaza and Milford Mall. Nothing stopped you from enjoying those shopping trips. You had a lot of energy and a lot of love for all of your family. I always called you a movie star when you would sport your sunglasses and had a scarf around your neck. We laughed about it all the time. You sure did look like one! May the Lord wrap his loving arms around you. You always prayed to him. We will all miss you so much. May you rest in peace with all your family you missed here on earth. Love you! Baby Mary
So many wonderful memories of Julia, Jimmy, Tiny and Anna in Florida. I loved coming to her house on Christmas. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. It was an honor to have her in our lives. We will remember her always.
Many fond memories, never to be forgotten!
She will be missed!! RIP Aunt Julia

Sonny & Richard, So sorry to hear about Auntie Julia. She opened her home for me at very challenging time of my life and I will never forget it. So many memories I have living across the street from her for many years and living with her and Jimmy during that time. I wish I could be there with you but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family
I worked with RoseMarie at her Flower Shop for 17 years and heard many loving stories of her Auntie Julia. Sometimes God drops Angels in our path and the life lessons they teach us are a Treasure. There will never be a Generation like that ever again. To all family and friends my thoughts and prayers are with you.
Always remember the importance of passing on to another Generation whatever, “Family Story or Life Lesson you have learned.
God Bless and to all those Aunts out there, find the time to spend special moments with your family like she did!
Dear LaBanca Family:
Julia was a friend of my mother Filomena “Fanny” Russo for many years. I remember Julia as one of the “club girls”
when I was young. She was a wonderful woman and sure to be missed by all. God bless her memory.
Sincerely,
Shirley Russo Pease
