Julia “Judy” A. Dalia Lawrence, 80, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford with her family by her side. She was born in New Haven on November 24, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lena DeFilippo Dalia. She had worked as a van driver for the former Nutile Bus Company for 32 years. Judy enjoyed trips to the casino, bingo, baking and cooking. Most of all she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren whom she loved unconditionally. Mother of Thomas and Veronica Lawrence. Grandmother of Brianna, Luca, Michael and Nicholas Lawrence. Sister of Carmen (Emma “Jackie”) Dalia and Paul Dalia. Also survived by her loving pets Phoebe, Meow and Oreo “Baby”.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to Saint Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at Saint Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven on Monday morning at 10:00 to attend a Mass of Christian Burial. There will be no visiting hours.
