I speak for the Connecticut Accordion Association, of which our dear Julie was a member since its inception. A sweet person, a fabulous musician, a dear sister, a friend to all, her passing leaves a hole in our “family” that is beyond words at this time. She has joined the very best musicians in heaven. But her loss to us is profound.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to her family, especially Mary and Walter. Her memory will forever live on.
Love,
Marilyn O’Neil and the Connecticut Accordion Association
So sorry to hear of Julie Cardona’s passing. Julie was a fantastic accordionist in her own right, as well as part pf the K Trio with her very talented siblings, Mary Tokarski and Walter Kaspryzyk, Julie, a world accordion champion, had a great sense of humor and will be missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.

I am so saddened to hear that sweet Julie has died. A quiet, kind and unbelievably gifted musician, she will be missed by so many!
Mary and the rest of Julies family. I am very sorry for losing your sister. I know you were very close. Julie was a talented musician and someone I tried to listen to while she performed the more difficult parts. I wish you as good a next few weeks as possible. I know its not easy when you love somebody.

I could not agree with you more, Marilyn. This is indeed a tragic loss of a fabulous accordionist with a wonderful sense of humor and a contagious smile. I will miss seeing her sitting just 2 seats away from me in the orchestra. I always enjoyed listening to her exceptional playing. She was an inspiration to me. May Julie Rest In Peace.
I feel Blessed to have known Julie and Mary….both beautiful people, both talented women..both kind and caring! I’ve known them for many years, thru the love of our instrument!…..only seeing them at Musical happenings all over the East coast…but always together in thought and prayer ! Now Julie is gone, but her love , enthusiasm and spirit will live on thru Mary’s love for her!
Bless you, Julie, as you are reunited with family, and other musical greats!
May God Always keep you in the Palm of His Hand! Rosemarie Cavanaugh
Julie has been an inspiration to me with her diehard rehearsal attendance and her faithful playing in CAA concerts. She was a pillar of Acc.#2 who provided and shared her virtuoso playing. On a personal note, she always had kind words for my sister Marie and me and we looked forward to sharing conversations with her. She left us with a legacy of talents, smiles and kindnesses.
May she rest in peace.

We are so saddened to hear of Julie’s passing and offer our deepest sympathy to Mary, Walter, and all of Julie’s family. She was the sweetest person that I have had the pleasure to know and to play with. She was always so helpful and an extremely gifted musician that I so enjoyed listening to. The accordion world has lost a treasure and will never be the same. We love you Julie and will miss you so much.
I wrote something but was it erased
