Katharina Stumpf Beedle, 85, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Connecticut Hospice, Branford surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard “Dick” Beedle Sr. Katharina was born in Offenbach, Germany on April 27, 1938, and was the daughter of the late Christian and Francesca Barth Stumpf. She came to the United States in 1958 and became a proud patriotic American citizen. Katharina worked for the former United States Surgical in North Haven for many years, making countless friends during her time there. She enjoyed drinking her Manhattans and going to the casino where she would play the slots. Katharina loved her cat Misty, but most of all being an Oma to her 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren loving them all unconditionally. Mother of Marlise Langan (Glenn), Harry and David Beedle (Cheryl), Sandy Merle, Katharina Blanchard (James), Paul Beedle (Sarah), and the late Heidi Beedle. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her nurse Annamarie, who Katharina loved dearly, and Mary, her caretaker, for their kindness and help, especially during the last year.
The visiting hours will be Friday, April 19th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue.
