Condolences to the family. I knew Kathryn from Woods Edge and Oakview Senior Housing in North Haven. She and my mother Sheila Grove were friends. R.I.P.
To Kathy & the Aurora family,
I have some of the best memories of your mom. She was a pip!
When I would come over to the house after school (high school), she’d say to me “before you leave, can you tell me which dress you think would be better for a wedding I’m going to? Also what shoes do you think will work with the dress?”
She was a little fashionista!
Or the time I rang the door bell and she yelled “just come in”. I walk into the kitchen and in the little bathroom to the left, here she is sitting on the toilet, fully dressed with a plastic cape on, with hair color all over her head. She was waiting for the color to process.. Lol. I just loved her!
You all are a testament of what great parents you had.
May she rest in peace with her hair done just right, her make up and lipstick on perfectly and celebrating her reunion with your dad and Nicky. ❤️

my precious aunt is now in heaven. Now i have another angel looking over me. Aunt Kathryn is my mother’s sister and now they can see each other peacefully. Aunt Kathryn sounds just like my mommy their voices are so similar
my favorite memory is having huge Sunday dinner at the Aurora’s home. Aunt Kathryn served delicious food, all 10 courses (yummy)
i miss your laugh and your endless stories. i relished in them whenever we spoke for hours on the telephone.
You lived a long life but your departure was not easy on me or any other of your loved ones . When my time comes we will meet again but until then Thank You for being an amazing aunt
Love and kisses
Theresa, Sam and Sonia
