Kathryn Kirchner Mahaney, 97, formerly of Hamden, passed away Thursday November 2, 2017 at the Sharon Health Care Center, Sharon, CT. She was the wife of the late Howard Joseph Mahaney; born in North Madison on November 25, 1919 and was the daughter of the late Adam and Josephine Steckel Kirchner. Kathryn worked as a bookkeeper for Yale New Haven Hospital until her retirement in 1992.
Private funeral services have been entrusted to the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. There will be no visiting hours.
Katha and Joy so very sorry to hear of Kays passing. We always exchanged Christmas cards and she would get me caught up on both of you and your children. She certainly lived a long life. I will remember her in my prayers
