Kelly J. McMahon, 71, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 14th, 2023 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 49 years to Linda Carey McMahon. Kelly was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 5th, 1951 and was the son of the late Raymond J. and Marie Kelly McMahon. He worked for Sears for over 20 years and later as a mechanic for Bob Thomas Ford. Kelly enjoyed cooking and he lived for his family who he loved unconditionally. Father of Kelly S. McMahon of Wallingford, Shawn Hall (Jay) of Plantsville, Christina Warner (Mark) of Plainville, Coleen Catalano (Marc) of Wallingford/Clinton. Brother of Steven McMahon of Wallingford, Maureen McMahon of Utah, Kathleen Gedrys (Peter) of East Haddam. Also survived by eight grandchildren.
Private services have been entrusted to The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A “Celebration of Kelly’s Life” will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation in his memory may be made to the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter, 749 East Main Street, Branford, CT 06405.

He was a generous man with a great sense of humor and a heart of gold. I know he left a huge void in the family, and will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to the family.
So sorry to hear of Kelly’s passing. He was a fellow classmate of mine from high school. My clear recall of him is of a quiet,but always pleasant young man.
