Kimberly Wrenn Zacharski, 63, of East Haven, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, August 6th, 2023, at the Grimes Center, New Haven. She was the beloved wife of Kenneth T. Zacharski. Kimberly was born in Durham, North Carolina on July 26th, 1960, and was the daughter of the late Eugene F. and Eleanor G. Evans Wrenn. A graduate of George Washington High School in Danville, Virginia, she attended the University of Alabama and the University of New Haven. Kimberly had worked as a phlebotomist for Quest Laboratories until her retirement. She enjoyed singing, playing the piano and organ, traveling, playing golf, going to the movies, cooking, and attending concerts. Kimberly was very active with her church and was a sports enthusiast, and an avid New York Mets fan and she loved her Dunkin Donuts coffee.
Mother of Brittany McQuillan (Scott) and Cara Aldridge. Sister of her twin Pamela Trawick (Kenneth), Ricky Wrenn (Vicky), and Kathy Wrenn. Also survived by many family members, loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was loved by all.
Family and friends may call at the Promise Land Church of God, 240 Burwell Road, West Haven on Thursday morning, August 10th from 9:00 to 11:00. A service will be conducted at 11:00. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
I hate to hear this. Kim was such a sweet person in school, I was friends with her Pam and Kathy. My thoughts are prayers are with her family and friends. May Gods Grace and Mercy be with all of you.
We are so sadden by the loss of Kim . She was always so pleasant and fun to be with . I know how hard it is yo have lost her after such a short time getting married . Like I said ,just not fair .!
