Leo A. Brunell, Jr., 76, of Pompano, FL, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 18, 2021, at his home. He was born in New Haven on November 27, 1944, and was the son of late Leo A. Brunell, Sr. and Mabel Smallman Brunell. Leo served his country faithfully in the US Army during the Vietnam War and worked as a truck driver for many years, last working for Janco LTD. Father of Stephen Brunell, Stephanie Stacy, Ashton Brunell and the late Charlie Brunell.
The inviting hours will be on Thursday, June 24th, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A service will be conducted in the funeral at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
Leo – aka to us as “Junie” was my Dad’s half brother (Raymond Mortimer) We are so sorry to learn of his passing. His one niece (Debby Mortimer Galloway) and 3 nephews (Dennis, Donald and David Mortimer) and our famiies send our deepest sympathy, many prayers and much love to his family and friends God bless all of you
