Leon G. Barnes, 68, of Bethany, passed away at his home on Saturday, September 23, 2023. Born in New Haven on april 24, 1955, e was the son of the late Almon R. and Jane Farren Barnes. He serviced his country in the US Army Leon was a Technology Specialist for various companies for many years until his retirement. Brother David A. (Maggie) Barnes and the late Richard M. Barnes. Also survived by the love of his life, Heidi Kuchta, her son Zachary Fielosh, several nieces and nephews.
The visiting hours will be Saturday, September 30th from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Military honors for Leon will be rendered following the visiting hours in the parlor.
RIP Lee. The gang will miss you. You were a great friend and good man!

I was so sad to hear if Lee’s passing. My deepest condolences to his family and many friends. I will always remember Lee as a kind, gentleman with a beautiful soul!
