Leonard J. Liscio Jr., 71, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 29, 2022, at Yale New Haven Hospital with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 32 years to Betsy Robinson Liscio. Leonard was born in Bridgeport on January 22, 1951 and was the son Eva Tutty Liscio and the late Leonard J. Liscio Sr. He had worked in pack down at Home Depot for 18 years. He was a gun enthusiast and a member of the Elm City Gun Club in East Haven competing in many competitions with both rifles and handguns. Leonard enjoyed watching NASCAR, traveling, and camping. He was an avid bowler and played in both a men’s and couples leagues. Father of Leonard J. Liscio III, Michael (Kimberly) Liscio, Steven (Tammy) Liscio and Lisa Liscio. Brother of Paula (James) Troiano, Donna (Ronald) Karramann and the late Dennis Liscio. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be conducted in The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue on Saturday, September 10th at 1:00 PM. Family and friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook Street, I-91 Tech Ctr. #3, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
Dear Lenny It’s hard to believe you’ve gone to your heavenly home so quickly after finding out about your illness. We wanted you here longer but it’s up to God to call you at the time he feels is right. You been a great big brother , always there when we needed you. You’ve been a very good son brother father grandfather great grandfather and friend to many people who knew you. Whenever we mention your name the first thing people say is what a good guy and always was. The love your children grandchildren and great grandchildren gave you in your life only showed what a beautiful kind and loveing person you were. You had it all. Now it’s time to RIP and watch over all of your family. Give Dad Dennis Jenna and our grandparents our love. You came from the best mom and dad two sisters and a brother who love you so much.
