Linda L. DeLizio Pedersen, 77, of Northford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 18, 2022, surrounded by her family at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the beloved wife of 54 years to Gary Pedersen. Linda was born in New Haven on October 26, 1945 and was the daughter of the late Louis and Ortenzia Cantarella DeLizio. She had worked as a cafeteria manager for North Branford High School for many years. Linda enjoyed boating and spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved unconditionally. Loving mother of Dawn Walczak (Michael) and Gary Pedersen Jr. (Laurie Bizzario). Cherished grandmother of Christopher Walczak, Brian Pedersen, Cody Walczak, Matthew, and Jake Pedersen. Sister of Judith DeGennaro (Daniel) and Pamela DeLizio. Also survived by her brother-in-law Tage Pederson and sister-in-law Diana Melillo.
The visiting hours will be on Wednesday, Dec. 21st at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home from 4 to 7 PM. Family and friends are invited to go directly to Saint Ambrose Parish at St. Monica Church, 1331 Middletown Avenue, Northford on Thursday morning Dec. 22nd at 11:00 and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following in Northford Cemetery.
I’m so sad to hear of Linda’s passing.
She was a long time friend. We had some good times.
