Lisa J. DeLeo, 58, of Hamden, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 1, 2018 after being stricken while on vacation with her wife in Marthas Vineyard.  She was the beloved wife of Angela Pietrosimone.  Lisa was born in New Haven on May 31, 1960 and was the loving daughter of Richard J. (Carole) Dillon and the late Jean M. Hess Dillon and the late Michael F. DeLeo.  Lisa had worked for Bradley International Airport for 35 years until retiring as the Manager of Ground Transportation.  Lisa was quite the humorist, always joking and very comical.  She enjoyed cooking, was an artist, was a Boston Red Sox and New York Giants fan.  Sister of Lawrence DeLeo (Kathy) and Lynne DeLeo (Deborah Allen).  Aunt of Lauren Plumey (David) and Christine DeLeo (Richard Del Cervo) Great-Aunt of Asa and Raelyn.  Also survived by the entire Pietrosimone family; her fur babies Luciano and Marcello; her special cousin Michele; her dear friends Denise, Dee, Donna, Rae, Sue, Carol, Mary, Robin and so many-many more to mention.

Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue on Friday morning at 11:00. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Frances Cabrini Church, North Haven at 11:30. The visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm.  Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929 or East Haven Animal Shelter, 189 Commerce Street, East Haven, CT  06512.
