Lorraine H. D’Errico Ventriglio, 72, of Hamden, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Connecticut Hospice, Branford with her family by her side.  She was the beloved wife of 49 years to Frank Ventriglio.  Lorraine was born in New Haven on August 8, 1951, and was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Viola Spragg D’Errico.  She had worked as a custodian at Southern Connecticut State University for many years.  Lorraine enjoyed cooking, baking, and hosting family and friends at her home for the holidays.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandson who was the light of her life and she loved him unconditionally. Lorraine touched an endless number of lives, she will be remembered for being very loving, caring and always wanted the best for everyone.  Loving mother of Kara (David) Warsawski.  Beloved Gigi of Lucas Warsawski.  Sister of Michael D’Errico, Phyllis Andreoli, Roseann Sotere Nicholas, and Robert D’Errico.  Predeceased by her stepdaughter Rosemary Ventriglio Miller. 

The visiting hours will be on Tuesday, April 30th from 4 to 7 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue.  Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Paul VI Parish at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 2819 Whitney Avenue, Hamden on Wednesday morning, May 1st at 10:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following in the All Saints Mausoleum.  Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to The Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford CT 06405.
