Lorraine R. Guglielmo

Lorraine R. Miranda Guglielmo, 93, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Friday, July 1^st, 2022 at the Arden House, Hamden with her family by her side.  She was the beloved wife of 65 years to the late D. Richard Guglielmo.  Lorraine was born in New Haven on September 26, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Carmen and Margaret Pacelli Miranda. She had worked as a sewing instructor for New Haven Adult Education. Lorraine and her late husband were very socially active, they were members of the Italian-American Club, the Ridge Road Senior Center, the Jolly Timers, they loved to dance, she was a member of the Red Hatters and volunteered her time for the North Haven Republican Town Committee. Mother of Richard (Barbara) Guglielmo, Sharon (Kenneth) Muro and the late Gary Guglielmo.  Mother-in-law of Dianne Guglielmo.  Grandmother of Richard, Gary, Michael and Thomas Guglielmo. Great-Grandmother of Matthew, Anastasia and Helene Guglielmo.  Predeceased by her sister Marie VanWinkle.

The visiting hours will be Thursday, July 7^th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Hamden on Friday morning July 8^th at 11:00.  Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
