Louis E. St. George, Jr., 84, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 30th, 2022, with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 64 years to Mary Wade St. George. Louis was born in New Haven on August 13,1937 and was the son of the late Louis E. St. George, Sr. and Elizabeth Green St. George. He was a graduate of North Haven High Schools first graduating class in 1955, attended Quinnipiac College and had worked for John Hancock Insurance for many years until his retirement. Louis was the 1st Master Counselor of the William P. Lee Chapter North Haven, a member of the Harugari Society, West Haven and the Mayflower Society, North Haven. Louie’s greatest enjoyment was being with his wife, children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who he loved unconditionally. Louie especially loved being his grandchildren’s personal chauffeur. Father of Donna St. George, Louis St. George III and Edward St. George. Grandfather of Alexandria St. George-Monges (Russ), Eric St. George, Juliette St. George. Great-Grandfather of Cosette Monges. Brother of Sandra Stetson and the late Paul Stetson.
Funeral Services will be conducted in the Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue on Thursday morning, May 5th at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Wednesday, May 4th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.

I was so sad to hear of Louie’s passing. He was such a sweet man and always brightened my day when I saw him at Stop & Shop where I work. I will miss seeing his smile under those great hats he wore. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
