Louis Pisotti, 90, of Hamden, CT passed away peacefully at Connecticut Hospice in Branford on February 13, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Maria, and his two daughters Joann Pisotti of Hamden and Mary Pisotti (Brian) of Milford. Louis was born July 23, 1932 in Genoa, Italy, and was the only son of the late Joseph and Rosa Gramegna Pisotti. Louis immigrated to the US in 1947, settling in the New Haven area after spending a short time in Nevada and California. From a young age through his early eighties he was self-employed as a ceramic tile contractor, first working together with his father and then carrying on the business after his passing. He loved to keep busy and took great pride in his work professionally and around the house and garden. He enjoyed chatting with friends, fishing, wine making and especially his wife’s home cooking. He will be dearly missed.
The visiting hours will be Saturday morning, Feb. 18th from 10:30 to 11:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven at 12 noon. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice may be made in Louis’ memory.

Rita and family
I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Mr.Pisotti. I had the pleasure of speaking to him whenever he did tile work at my home. He tiled in my Kitchen, living room and bedroom. While he worked he often spoke of his wife and children as well his life with his talented father. He was such a wonderful man, always happy with his family , his work and his life. I think of him often whenever I see his work throughout my home. He will be deeply missed. A truly special individual. God Bless him and your family.
Dear Maria, Joann and Mary Louise, we send you our heartfelt condolences for your loss. I will always remember his kind smile and what a wonderful friend he was for my family. May he Rest in Eternal Peace. All of our love, Marina, Luciano and Gabriele.
