Louise L. Falcone Arnone, 96, of Hamden, formerly of North Haven entered into heaven on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Whitney Manor, Hamden to be reunited with her loving husband John Arnone of over 50 years. She was born in New Haven on December 11, 1921 and was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Giovanna Buonocore Falcone. Louise had worked as a cashier/clerk for Molloy School in West Haven for eighteen years; was a member of the North Haven AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary Post #9 and a parishioner of St. Barnabas Church. She will always be remembered for cooking, baking and entertaining, Louise had an eye for fashion and interior design. While a resident of Whitney Manor she was influential to others in the application of Cetafil and lip stick. Mother of Angela (John F.) Vigent, JoAnn Farina and Michele (Ronald) Vitti. Grandmother of John Michael (Angela M.) Vigent, Shannon (Carlos) Julia, Christopher (Jennifer) Farina and Matthew Farina. Great-grandmother of Gabrielle, Jeremy, Peyton, Juliana, Aiden, Giovanna, Natalia, MacKenzie, Sean, Lola and Ava. Sister-in-law of Agatha Falcone and Francis Shanoff. Predeceased by her siblings Ralph, Louis, Ernest, Domenic, Benito and Pasquale Falcone, Lena DaSilva, Mary Pagano and Anita Shanoff. The family would like to extend a “Special Thank You” to the entire staff at the Whitney Manor for their care and compassion.
The visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 Wednesday morning. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 10:00. Entombment will follow in the Saint Lawrence Mausoleum. My Aunt Louise was a most sweet , caring and considerate person. I am grateful that after along interlude I was able to have an extended conversation with her at the wake for her sister Anita. She is the last sibling of her generation of Falcones. May God bless her and keep her in his arms.

Aunt Louise & Uncle John were the best of the best. when I was a child they were so very kind to me. They accepted me like one of their own, something I will always cherish. May they rest in peace. They will always be in my thoughts and prayers. My deepest condolences to you girls.
