Lucille Dancause, 92, of Meriden, formerly of Northford and Durham passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the MidState Medical Center, Meriden with her family by her side. Lucille was born in Wickford, Rhode Island on March 5, 1925; daughter of the late Napoleon and Eva Blanchard Dancause; she had worked as a bookkeeper at Phipps Insurance Agency, was an avid reader and a former member of the Durham Senior Center. Aunt of David (Valerie) Cournoyer, Jay (Jill) Pawlowski, Michael Cournoyer and the late Paul Pawlowski.  Also survived by grandnieces and grandnephews.  Predeceased by her sisters Pauline Pawlowski, Constance Cournoyer and a grandniece Laura Cournoyer.

Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Friday morning at 9:30.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in The Most Holy Trinity Church, Wallingford at 10:00.  Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Wallingford.  The visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 pm.
