Lucy Napolisso Pulisciano, 96, of Hamden passed away on Saturday, June 18th, 2022 at her home. Born in New Rochelle, New York on February 9, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Concetta (D’Nofrio) Napolisso. Lucy had worked for Sargent & Company for many years until her retirement and later at Stop & Shop until the age of 93. Lucy was an avid New York Yankees fan, was very proud of her Italian heritage, enjoyed cooking (especially her signature dish, lasagna), but most of all, Lucy enjoyed being with her family who she loved unconditionally. Mother of the late Diane Shea, (John Shea), Gail Weyel, and Joann Pulisciano (Justin Haley). Grandmother of Lauren, Kelly and John Michael Shea. Predeceased by brothers Samuel and Nicholas Napolisso and her sister Mary Telesco.
The visiting hours will be Sunday, June 26th 2022 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, North Haven on Monday morning, June 27th at 10:00.
