Aunt Marcia, you were so special in my life. As the first-born niece, we shared a beautiful relationship no one else could have. Sleepovers ar your cute little apartment in New Haven. Amazing books gifted from the Yale Co-op bookstore that were heirlooms, books like no one else my age had. Love and acceptance for just being me, with no agenda or expectations.
You picked me to be your flower girl at your wedding, then when you had your first baby you showed me how to hold her and told me she could be our baby. You were there for the major events in my life and never once did I ever doubt your love or have a disagreement. Everyone should have an aunt like you in their life, and I’m so grateful you were in mine. With so much love from Mandy
Marcia, You and I became friends when I first began driving Dom to his radiation appt. for his cancer. We were able to keep in touch after his passing thru the Senior center nd then when you moved hext door.. You were always a good friend trying to help others ,even when it became obvious you couldn’t do for yourself any more.
You were always brave. Now all you have to do is rest and be with your Dom.
REST WELL MY FRIEND. YOU HAVE EARNED IT.
Love ever, prayers always,
Marie-Anne
