Margaret A. Casey Carocari, 90, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 27th, 2023, at the Grimes Center, New Haven. She was the beloved wife of the late Riccio G. Carocari. Margaret was born in New Haven on January 26th, 1933, and was the daughter of the late William J. and Margaret O’Brien Casey. She had worked for the former A.C. Gilberts, City Printing, Tastebuds Deli, North Haven, and later for Nutmeg Farms. Margaret enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, but her greatest joy was being with her family who she loved unconditionally. Mother of Richard J. Carocari, Teresa “Terri” Carocari (Carla Angeletti) and Michael A. Carocari. Grandmother of Deniece Degirmenci (Arda) and Stephanie Chaparro. Great-Grandmother of Lila, Bianca, and Paige. Predeceased by her sister Barbara Casey and brother William Casey.
Family and friends are invited to meet directly at the Office of All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Avenue, North Haven on Wednesday morning, May 31st at 9:45 and follow the funeral procession to the graveside for a 10:00 service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grimes Center, 1354 Chapel Street, New Haven, CT 06511, or the CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
We are so sorry for your loss. Cousin Margie will surely be missed by Richard and I. I loved our coffee conversation and laughs when I was over.
